The Ellenville Fire District was formed in 1982 and protects a 53 square mile fire district, answering an average 350 calls a year. They operate out of four stations, Pioneer Station (Center St.), Scoresby Hose (Maple Ave.), Kimble Hose (Berme Rd.) and the Greenfield Park Station (West Route 52).
